Development
Our in house engineers, artists and designers are well versed at managing projects from start to finish employing joined up thinking from ideation to completion. We develop a wide range of lo-fi concepts and hold focus groups to ensure the problem and solution are fully understood before we start investing time in detailed design.
Using a wide range of CAD software and simulation tools allows us to take on the most difficult design & engineering challenges. Making ornithopters fly, creating soundscapes from mechanical devices, engineering the next generation of transport vehicles. CFD & FEA
At BDI Lab, our cutting-edge work flows and tools empower our customers to enhance their product development processes significantly. For the majority of our simulations we use the Ansys suite of tools. Specifically, mechanical, fluent and discovery. Offering rapid insights into design development and engineering considerations. By simulating product assembly and optimizing part interactions, we help businesses reduce material usage and lower production costs. Our advanced analyses provide early insights into performance, enabling companies to make informed design decisions that minimize risk and ensure reliability. This proactive approach not only accelerates time to market but also supports compliance with regulatory standards through accurate documentation. Reverse Engineering
Using a refined set of CAD software and custom tools allows us to take on the most challenging reverse engineering and sculptural CAD design challenges. These models can then be used to reproduce highly detailed parts by a number of production techniques. If you need NURBS data or you want to develop some specific geometry from your scan data we are very happy to help with that too.
Going beyond the drawing board we use computational models to analyse and optimise our designs. The use of software allows us to save material, time and cost in the product development process. We can ensure parts will be up to the job before we even finish the design process and we do this with unprecedented accuracy.
